Bill, let's take it off line. Fox News viewers are 1/3 liberal, 1/3
conservative, and 1/3 independent. I was citing them because of the fact
that they champion fair and balanced reporting and use of public records and
any other sources of information. The issue for this thread is about how
public records can actually be used or misused to support political agendas.
Not which political agenda.

As I stated, the issue in the news (now, after the public's reaction to
their posting of the Public Records) is how newspapers themselves and other
media sources can use Public Records to intentionally invade privacy for
political purposes. And that Records Managers, especially those working in
government roles, can get caught in the middle. Records Managers should be
ready to present the advantages and disadvantages of public records.
Information to the public, cost, retention issues, etc. The professional
issues and complexities.

If you want to discuss media bias, take it off line, and reply to me
directly.

Handgun Owners' Names, Addresses - Courant.com - THE BIGGER ISSUE

John, If you think that Fox News represents a fair and balanced approach, we
have nothing to talk about. Given that, your knock against the Left is no
surprise.
