Hi Irene,

I know that it would be disaster if company will decide do decrease the space for file room.
I'm not surprise that the main point in it is the promises to put everything on ... electronically.
I suggest to check the real space your firm spends now for records - File Room, and all those small spots in the offices where layers and their assistant keep files now.
I'm also not surprised that in case company will get new nice furniture, you will get immediately significant am mount of files that before were stored or hidden in the offices.

Before going on the meeting, try to do total shelf check - if you use barcodes - do total scanning and come to the meeting with real data - let say that you have 10.000 files in the records room and it is full on 90%, and you have also 8.000 files in the offices, in layers homes, and another only 2.000 with outside consultants.
So, do simple math -file room now keeps only 50% of all files that your firm is accounted for due to...lack of space in the reocrds room.
If you get 60% of existing space, it will mean that you can accomodate only ... 35% of all company's files and the rest will be located in the new offices.
This means only the increasy in the cost of doing business and healt issues for all employess - Dear Layers - please make a deap breeze and enjoy our dust.

May be in this situation layers will increase thier efficiency???
Regards,

Alex Babin
