Thanks, Nick.  Thanks to you as well, Lee - I couldn't have crafted a more spot on response.  As Nick stated, I was not speaking on behalf of ARMA, or any other organization.  I was asked, by Law.com, to contribute an article highlighting the upcoming information governance panel discussion for the legal CIO Forum, which is an event associated with LegalTech.  As such, any views, statements or opinions expressed were my own.

In response to:  "The reality is that if records managers who manage, classify, retain and govern the information assets had any public relations at all, this conference would not have been necessary."  LegalTech is a long-existing conference that has a very broad focus, generally targeting legal IT and technology professionals.  The fact that a session such as this has been given prominence reflects the fact that information professionals (i.e. records managers) have been very successful with their public relations efforts.
