Just make certain you get three or more quotes. I have seen quotes come in
that differed by as much as $50K. When I asked the lower cost vendor what
the differences were, they usually said the higher quote normally includes
the cost of purchasing the equipment to perform specialized work--like fiche
to electronic conversion.
Also, once you get the quotes, ask for an "apples to apples" quote that
makes clear what they are charging for various costs.
