The newly-created Access Leadership Scholars Endowment is being
created to provide actively-engaged RIM practitioners financial
assistance for their part-time pursuit of a college degree. The $25,000
fund will be distributed as scholarship grants to selected applicants
who meet the following requirements: currently employed as a records
management professional for a minimum of five years, currently
enrolled in a college degree program, are able to demonstrate that
their personal professional advancement path requires a college
degree, and who are members in good standing of ARMA International.
It is anticipated that the first round of awards will be made in the Fall
2013. Detailed application process and program information will be
made available in April.
