I was a software tester and requirements guy for a company that made
scanning and indexing software. Around 2000 we decided that we need to make
records management software and I was given TNA-099, DoD 5015.2 (the
original), and told to come back with a list of requirements for building a
records management application. A year or so later I found out about this
group called ARMA that had a chapter in Denver and a conference. :)
