Through the years, I’ve found Stephen Page’s books to be helpful:
Establishing a System of Policies and Procedures
7 Steps to Better Written Policies and Procedures
Best Practices in Policies and Procedures
Achieving 100% Compliance of Policies and Procedures (this one doesn’t really have examples, but it’s one of my favorites)
And, check out this one, too:
Writing Effective Policies and Procedures: A Step-by-Step Resource for Clear Communication by Nancy J. Campbell
These books include examples and provide format ideas. They are available on Amazon.
