and help to define the role and to build the program.

*Open to Law Firm and In-House Backgrounds:* Yes; however, must understand
that the role will be moving into “Quality.”

*Education/Pedigree:*

· Bachelor’s Degree Required. Certifications in this field would
be ideal. These will help bring credibility to the role/person while
dealing with the senior level executives (in addition to the substantive
benefits). Examples include: Records Management Certification and CISSP
(Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

*Relocations:* Open to this

Checks will also be required

*Top 3-5 Requirements:*

· - Experience implementing a records management program

· - Integrity

· - The company is very decentralized-needs to be OK with this type
of environment-must be comfortable working with ambiguity

· - Influence with authority-presence/confidence necessary to deal
with senior level executives

· - This will be a global role-will deal with many different
jurisdictions. Persons who thrive in multi-cultural environments are
desired.

*Hours: *Typically, normal business hours. However, from time to time, they
may have to take calls that accommodate different time zones.

*Travel:* Up to 30% (at least initially)-candidate will travel to different
sites to roll out the program and to fully understand what he/she is
dealing with at each location. Both domestic and international travel.

*Department/Team:* There is no “records management” team; however, there
are various groups, throughout the company, that have records managers. In
other words, there are peers in the organization that deal with records and
information management in some capacity/form. (The person will start in
Legal and likely transfer to Quality)

*Selling points of the client and culture:*

· Opportunity to develop your own program-great challenge-“add a
feather to your cap.” It is a large global company with lots of
opportunity for growth and development as well as exposure to various
cultures
