Agencies are under the gun to meet the Dec. 31 deadline to manage all
permanent and temporary email in an accessible, electronic format. Earlier
this year, agencies said they were in good shape to meet that requirement
That’s the good news.
But managing records is more than just email–though it feels like many
times all we talk about is email as the only federal record.
There are a host of other pieces and parts that agencies need to bring
under control to really take improve how they conduct their business
electronically.
