I too am looking for a policy statement for a client.  In addition does anyone have an audit program for a records retention policy?

I would appreciate it if any organisation would be prepared to share its
policy statement for holding records ( and not proceeding with their
disposal) in the event of litigation arising in respect to the matter the
records record.  We need to present a client with some examples of such
policy statements.
