We are imaging personnel files for active employees.  Quality of the
images is as good as you would get from a copier.  If you have lost data
when personnel files are imaging you are doing it wrong.

One consideration to keep in mind is that you may be retaining the
images for a very long time.  Migration and obsolescence are issues that
must be addressed.
