There have been several high-profile cases lately (one just recently
here in Orange County
http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/homepage/abox/article_1364212.php)
where what people have written in blogs has come back to bite them. So
just on that, a company needs to have some sort of policy about blog use
-- especially during work hours.

Whether it's a record or not would depend on whether the content
documented some business function or activity -- I don't see it as much
different than email or IM.

Does anyone have information on records management and blogs used by
businesses/organizations. Are blog discussions considered records? We
don't have any blogs yet so want to be forearmed with information when
they occur.
