Well, the French people are always too proud to accept something in english.
You know they do not have a "mouse" attached to their computers but
"sourris". Amnd of course, they do not have computers, but "ordinateurs"...
And so on.
But this "records" issue made them surrender. I was very amused to see in an
article "le record management". Because they simply cannot fully translate
it into French!
So with your records manager...

Here's a fun fact for the day: I consulted our office manager in our Paris
office for clarification on the appropriate corresponding title in French
for Records Manager . I asked her if it was "Administrateur des Registres"
as I had heard before...
"Mais non," she replied. "I believe that as 'Records Manager' is a
recently created position within companies the French tend to use the
English title. However if I were to translate it I would use the title
'Directeur des archives'.
