I have been reading all of these with interest. Marketing 101 says the
elevator speech is a 30 second sound bite that should capture someone's
interest, as well as help them remember what you do in case they want to followup.
Here is what I have been using with great success for the past 16 years.
"We help companies get their information organized so they can easily find
what they need and get rid of what they don't."
This statement and my "tagline" which they see as I hand them my business
card always develops a conversation for a few minutes and subsequently generates
business.
