The Missouri Office of the Secretary of State has an opening for an
Electronic Records Archivist in the Records Management Division. Duties will
involve working with assigned state agencies to develop and maintain records
retention schedules; evaluating the administrative, legal, historical, and
fiscal value of electronic records  generated by state and local agencies in
Missouri; providing professional guidance to state and local government
agencies; maintaining liaison with staff archivists and records analysts
concerning appraisal/description work, electronic record systems, and
standards for both; and advising on problems with electronic records
retention and disposal. 

In addition, the Electronic Records Archivist will be a key player in a
number of initiatives and projects that are underway or planned for the
