Not for nothin but why would you scan vendors?

Some would say there are enough vedors already. is it critical that you get 
greater distribution with them? having a vendor available 24/7 world wide 
might sound good but what about the cost? and how will you know that the 
scanned vendor is the same as the original? what standard will you apply? 
What about he workflow problems (heck gettin a vendor to do anything is 
tough enough and now you wanna make more). How are you planning to dispose 
of all these extra vendors when their lifecycleis up? I don't think the even 
folks from OZ can help on this one. Personally, I think you should leave 
well enough alone.
