We have a monthly newsletter for the Safeway population, and in it, we were
talking about Enterprise Content Management...but then we started using the
word 'information' interchangeably with the word 'content'. It got me to
thinking if they are the same thing. Is the 'content' in Enterprise
Content Managment the same as 'Information' in Records and Information
Management? Our department is called the Records and Content Management
Department...would it have been the same thing if we called ourselves the
Records and Information Management Department?

I have to say, I've been trying to research this all day, and I'm driving
myself nuts. Did you know there are philosophers trying to determine this
too? I certainly didn't before today!
