In their roughly two years of practicing social media development and
outreach, the Department of Veterans Affairs has established itself as one
of the more innovative and forward thinking federal agencies when it comes
to matters of social networking. Now, with the launch of a new comprehensive
social media policy, the VA is making strides to ensure it maintains its
status as a leader in the field.
