There are many things that are still around but not advertised. However, for the products that have either been completely removed from the market or have greatly changed how they are marketed, I wonder if any history has been maintained. With so many acquisitions and mergers of these product companies, how would one go about finding historical documentation? Was such documentation even preserved during all the changes? I also wonder if the complete history of any of the products still on the market has been preserved in some manner. It's interesting to see old advertising signs or ads in old copies of newspapers and magazines, but will that be the only history of the product? I guess only time will tell.
