I recently read a book originally published in 1989, ³Cuckooıs Egg², by
Clifford Stoll.  Itıs a non-fiction book that describes Mr. Stollıs
efforts, while employed as an astrophysicist in 1986 at UC Berkeley, to
track down a hacker who was doing the exact same thing.  Itıs now almost
30 years later, and ‹ apparently ‹ the same, sad situation exists and
hackers are still taking advantage.
