Greetings ListServ,

We are exploring the possibility of managing our records on SharePoint using a hybrid approach (in place & records center).  We are a small non-profit and am curious if we could manage it out of the box without the assistance of any add ons offered by companies such as Collabware and Gimmal.  What has been your experience managing records in SharePoint with and without add ons?   What is the extra burden on end users and IT, if no add ons are used?

Any information would be greatly appreciated, as we are in the infancy stages of researching.
