As a public utility, there may be valid reasons for retaining risk-related
information for historical purposes, settlement agreements being an
example.  Thereıs no legal obligation to retain them forever, but ongoing
access to past legal rulings that significantly affected your organization
can provide a valuable perspective for evaluating future risks.  As the
person ultimately responsible for managing risks for your company, the
Risk Director is the one who needs that information more than anyone else.
 If they want permanent retention on settlement agreements, Iıd go along
with their request.
