Two excellent websites for insurance and annuity recordkeeping requirements are:

- The American Council of Life Insurers (www.acli.com)
- National Association of Insurance Commissioners (www.naic.org).

The ACLI has published a number of "Law Surveys" which identify
retention requirements for insurance and annuity products for all 50
states.  The NAIC has a model regulation (MDL-910) which many states
have adopted in one form or fashion.
