Good points, all, Steve, and a valid question to sum it up. Here's my
opinion of what the answer may be:
If you bring a lot of various parties into one effort, you typically
wouldn't give that effort the name of one of those parties. A symphony is
not called "The Cellos." Professional football is not called "the
Steelers" (unless you're my neighbor). While engaging the other
stakeholders - call it Records Management and they'll say "that's you."
Call it Information Governance and they can say "that's us."
