Not sure of any specific resources offhand, although the principle in play is 
relatively simple.  If the electronic version of the record is the original 
record, the paper copies - no matter how critical they are in the process - 
are transitory convenience copies (unless a wet-ink signature is applied or 
some other information is applied somehow).  Therefore they should be 
destroyed as soon as they're no longer in use.  A trusted system where the 
electronic original resides is important so that people aren't squirreling 
their own copies away somewhere.
