Some people have been confused by the fact that a graduate degree in
archival studies or equivalent is required for the position of Executive
Director of the Association of Canadian Archivists. I am writing to clarify
that the focus of the position is information governance, all aspects of it,
not only recordkeeping. Please, read carefully the job description as it is
very likely that the person we are looking for belongs in the crowd which
reads this listserv, a records and information manager familiar with
non-profit organizations.

 

So, here is the call again. 

 

The Association of Canadian Archivists invites applications for the full
time position of Executive Director. The applicant will hold a graduate
degree in archival studies, or equivalent, from a recognised university.

 

Salary will be commensurate with experience. The starting date is 3 April
2017. The location is Ottawa, Ont.
