I know, I know, I know!!!

Many years ago when I was a field archivist for the Texas State Archives
I was in the Walker County Courthouse with the County Clerk, James
Patton. He took me to a storage room where there were several units of
the old fashion Woodruff-Green narrow file drawers. He opened on and
took out a case file on a lawsuit between Sam Houston and a neighbor.

And then I noticed a padlocked door and asked what treasurers could
possibly be there. Mr. Patton grabbed a passing custodian who opened it
to reveal the courthouse's toilet paper supply.

The explanation was that the county already had the Sam Houston
documents but had to continue buying toilet paper.
