REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records solicits
proposals for a software system to augment records management operations
in its Records Management Division.

The system will be the basis for improvements to traditional records
management processes as well as other technology-driven processes. The
proposed system will support storage, retention scheduling and
disposition, tracking, space management, workflow, reporting, and
billing functions. With the installation of the new system, it is
expected that some of the current manual processes will be streamlined,
enhanced, automated, and available to customers through a web interface.

The RFP can be found on the Records Management Division website at
http://www.lib.az.us/records/pdf/rfp.pdf .

Interested parties responding to this RFP should note submission
requirements listed in the document. An optional pre-proposal
conference will be held at the State Records Management Center, 1919 W.
Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona 85009, on Friday, March 18, 2005 from 1:00
to 3:00 pm (MST). Submission deadline for proposals will be Friday,
April 1, 2005 at 5:00 pm (MST).

The primary contact person for the RFP is Laurie Sletten, CRM, CA,
(602-542-3834) with Tyler Selle (602-542-3835) as a secondary point of
contact.
