I wonder if anyone has some insight or could suggest a resource to consult on this question:

We used to have a company in our firm that was its own incorporated entity. It did industrial environmental consulting: indoor air quality, asbestos, industrial hygiene, etc. The company closed a few years ago, and in two years from now we will drop if off of our liability insurance. The question that I am researching now is: how long to keep the Project Files from that company's services to clients?

The staff's personnel files will be kept for 30 years IAW federal statutes on exposure to hazardous substances. But retention of the Project Files is not so cut and dry. Contractual obligations to clients have been terminated by letter agreement.

I have searched the Pennsylvania statutes re: corporations. And I have searched the list archives.

Thanks in advance for any help,
