We're the archives and records management program for a local/county
government and are under--oddly enough--the Office of Historic Alexandria.
The department is composed of museums and us.
A long time ago, we were under the Office of Management and Budget, but
have done really well under our current department since we get a lot of
support and backing there.

I'm gather information to see where the records management function
reporting line is for other organizations. Currently I report to the
Controller's office. Is this typical for other organizations? If not, where
does RM sit within your own organization.
Any information would be appreciated.
