I've never paid for destruction until I received the "Certificate of
Destruction" which, was attached to the destruction invoice & final
bill.

Subject: Closing an account with their off-site vendor.

Good Afternoon,

I would like to know what you have experienced if you closed out an
account with your off-site vendor. 

Do you  prepay all charges that are associated with destroying then the
boxes are destroyed?

Or do you destroy the boxes first then close out the account and pay the
final billing at that time?

I would like to know what you have experienced.
