It's only a few weeks away: the Midwest Archives Conference's Annual Meeting, "MAC in Bloom!"  Join us April 27-29 in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, for a rollicking time that will include all the workshops, tours, sessions and networking events that have built MAC's reputation as a leader among archival professional organizations nationwide.  There will be something for everyone in the fields of archives, special collections librarianship, conservation, public history and museum work.

The conference site, the Chateau Hotel (www.chateauhotel.biz) , is still honoring the MAC price and has a few spaces left, and arrangements have been made with another hotel to accept MAC attendees in the event that the Chateau fills up. The pre-registration deadline has passed, but it's still an incomparable bargain: only $60 for MAC members, $70 for non-members and $45 for students!
