Absolutely, although you would try to reduce the manual handling of the
image. One example would be where the mail room scans incoming applications
in to an application batch class (assigning arrival and document class), but
items such as acceptance/denial and contract number (and therefore the
appropriate retention) would only be attached during the workflow.

Good afternoon, I have a question for the group regarding indexing in your
imaging operations.
Does anyone do top level indexing by the imaging staff during the capture
process, and then have additional fields indexed by administrative staff
during the routine workflow process?
