Deidre, Can you expand you definitions of "retention" and "records"
programs a little because all the things I've seen are the oppsite.
Retention management is simple time based retention of
records/information and more closely follows the what would be called
"traditional" RIM, where Records mangement greatly expands the criteria
to including Authenticity,reliability,etc.. Records management would also
involve the idea of cradle to grave life-cycle model and management of
the information/record through its entire cycle instead of just after it's
declared a record.
