I would counter the young upstart with,
Under new legislation and Federal Rulings  ( Rule 26 and ESI)
a corporation could be subject to millions of lost dollars in 
litigation or even be
more susceptible to litigation if they cannot detail the information 
assets, their
location  and their format. (Electronic on disk to disk or cartridges 
in storage,
microfilm, paper, etc.)  These losses would cause all the young 
upstarts to be
terminated, year end bonuses to be forfeited and other bad things such 
as the
CFO and CEO spending time in prison.

Talk about your pay me now............?
