Outreach Specialist

Provide reference and database analysis/searching services in response to customer inquiries received at the NASA Center for AeroSpace Information using a variety of databases and online resources.  Develop and maintain search strategies for database users.  Conduct database training. Develop and maintain user aids and tools for various databases and information sources. Analyze user requirements and make recommendations for new products. Liaison with NASA Field Centers to acquire and process scientific and technical information into the database.

BA or BS degree in information management preferred.  Five years of work experience with bibliographic retrieval, reference services, and database analysis/searching is required.  

Salary range = $38,000 - $45,000
