I believe that should have all the licenses, certifications and
permits required for a position. If I worked for a company that
operated their own storage facility and forklifts I would definitely
obtain the necessary licenses for operating that equipment. My problem
is when the advertisement for these positions equate such licenses
with a professional certification. I also believe that the position
descriptions should more fully describe what the position will be
doing. Are they looking for a records manager who happens to have a
forklift operators license, or are they looking for a forklift
operator who happens to know some records management.
