Library Associates seeks experienced candidates for a Records Manager
position for a financial services company in Downtown Los Angeles. 

 

Responsibilities

 

*	Tracking, safeguarding and maintaining company-wide files and
records; 
*	Servicing the filing needs of various groups across the company;

*	Monitoring compliance with established company, regulatory and
legal requirements and ensuring the security, confidentiality and
appropriate destruction of records and files; 
*	Initiating process improvements including but not limited to the
assessment and implementation of new technologies such as electronic
document management or imaging; 
*	Developing and implementing a records management policy based
upon industry mandates and training appropriate staff on such policies; 
*	Liaising with office management in managing vendor
relationships. 
*	Perform additional duties as needed or requested

 

Qualifications 

 

*	Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience in records
management, preferably within the financial services industry; 
*	proven track record in implementing and managing a records
management system subject to the same legal, tax and regulatory rules; 
*	Strong knowledge of file and records management security and
technology, including records management systems, imaging/scanning and
other emerging technologies; 
*	Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills as well as an
excellent attention to detail; 
*	Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certification in records
management preferred.
