Raymond, from what I have seen I think you are about 20-25K too low...;
even more so in a high salary and high expense market.

Best regards, Steve

Let's get down to the basics - show me the money.

Where should the salaries be? It will vary greatly depending on your
location [legal disclaimer] but what should we expect? Given the
surveys
and watching the postings I think we should be somewhere near this for
offerings.

CRM and a degree $58 - 70,000
CRM and Master's level $64 - 75,000

Years of experience would matter and certainly the supervisory
experience and the other skills required or perhaps the nature of the
industry. Education less and Pharmaceuticals or legal would pay more
for
example. A new program might require more experience or a new CRM with
say five years might command less but in terms of the offering I think
those ranges are close.

Anything under $50k for a CRM for me is a problem and when employers
call me I tell them such. Sometimes they will fudge and post the job
as
"CRM desirable" or some such thing. We see the same thing with
advanced
degrees.

Having been involved in these searches I have found that CRMs are
getting harder to lure without higher salaries or benefits. Don't get
hung up on the salaries, remember benefits matter. The demand has
picked
up out there in recent years.

What are others thoughts on this? I have seen postings in the 80k
range
for CRM and Master level but fewer salaries are being posted. I am
calling and emailing many employers to see where offering ranges are.
