Several years ago, at one of the ARMA conferences (sorry, don?t remember
which one) there was a presentation by the lawyers involved in a recent
court case. It involved two companies suing their offsite storage
provider for lost of their records due to a fire at the storage facility.
The two companies were awarded something like $22m which was obviously
much more than the standard $1 per box.
Does anyone remember this presentation/case? I have searched the archives
but because I have very little information, my searches have been
unsuccessful. Can you point me towards more info?
