N+2 * one to hold the lightbulb; one to rotate the ladder upon which the one holding the lightbulb stands; and N to defend continuing to use an old fashioned, inefficient, expensive media. 

Two. One to change the bulb, and one to write about how good the old days were in records management when paper was the predominant media.
