>>Any advice you have on how to maintain the security of these documents to
satisfy Legal & Compliance will be greatly appreciated. Since our Compliance
team is extremely risk-averse, examples of how this is handled in other
companies usually helps us sell our position.<<

In another life I worked in state government. Our ECM solution originally
FileNet Content Services which was successfully migrated to the P8 Content
Manager platform. We retained a wide variety of extremely confidential
documents on the system for a number of agencies. Agencies included Tax,
NDPERS, DOT, Job Service, SOS, DHS, and others. Record types included tax
returns, medical records, child support records, adoption records, drivers
license information, payroll information and a variety of other records.

FileNet security is extremely flexible and can be configured to meet
whatever need you may have. I am convinced the systems like FileNet offer
far greater security for information than ever was possible in the paper
world.
