Bill writes:
"There is a requirement in the revised Rules of Civil Procedure to
provide the opposing counsel with information regarding possibly
relevant records at the Meet and Confer. Nothing in the rules requires
a data map."

When this particular topic popped up Tuesday and the data map was mentioned,
I had to check myself and wonder where this was coming form. Bill is correct
- there is no requirement for a data map. I've been through 2 meet & confers
via conference call. During the discussions I was asked to disclose our
system architecture, how we saved our documents & where, and approximate
volumes. The same was done for paper records and other objects.

Hope this helps.

Rock on!
