It's out of print now, but ARMA published "Records Retention Guidelines for US Based Real Estate Organizations" by Janice L. Peck & Florence M. Ochsner (ISBN: 0-933887-48-5) The appendix listed the statues for each state that were used to come up with their recommended retention periods. It could be a start.

Do any resources exist that pull together state/federal retention regulations for the architecture and construction industries? It's one of those Fridays when what I think I can find easily cannot be found (by me). Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
