Under the evidence acts in most Australian states and federally, records
created and used in a particular format (ie electronic) in the normaql
course of business must be accepted by courts as best evidence. So a court
cannot force you through hoops to transfer evidence to paper if you normally
use that document in electronic format.

Paper no longer rules (except in Victoria).
