My favorite was a Quonset hut being used in the desert of southern NM to
house power company records.  Not only was it placed directly on the
ground -no flooring (can anyone say critters, snakes and scorpions?) -
but it was out in the boonies not near any of their offices (or other
businesses or residences) and the only time someone went there was when
they had to, reluctantly, retrieve records.
