I've never heard Neil Young described as the Godfather of Grunge before. I
suppose it could be true in the sense that he never wore lipstick and eye
shadow. Plus he never was much on theatrics. He's always had a dress style
that was somewhere between a Canadian wheat farmer and a cattle rancher with
long hair. I'd have to say he is definitely not grunge in terms of the
unbelievable prose he's written over the years.
