I agree with Dwight on this one.  Reviewing samples is a fairly common
practice when looking at a major purchase.  I would no more consider sample
uniforms as a record than I would the cars I was asked to test drive when I
helped with a contract to purchase pool cars.

You should retain a record.  I would suggest taking a picture.  Donate the
uniforms to the Salvation Army.
