Hi, Greg,

(I thought I sent this yesterday.) You asked, "Are there RMs on the list
who already manage such (records) physical item storage areas for the
enterprise, or do you require the records originators to deal with those
items?"

We do, on a case-by-case basis. If it's just a historical groundbreaking
shovel now and then, we'll handle it. In the cases of quantities of
artwork that one department controls access to, or models of every Rose
Parade float, we assist the department to find suitable storage. (The cost
of all physical records management at American Honda is borne by the
Records Management department, except for the exceptions, which are paid
for by the department of the record originators.)
