With respect to reverse engineering the news gathering mechanisms
that Peter Kurilecz had not more frequently delineated and not in detail,
though reverse engineering may better left to another,
supporting the editorial privilege is as important as
critiquing how the editorial privilege had been used.
It had looked like an arrogant case of
a kneejerk overreactive authoritarian
than a professional eager to share basic principles of
records management, archival studies and librarianship.
It is a model for others and that model should more periodically
be made available delineated in detail. A model to be
replicated, improved upon, developed by other people with their
expertise.
Not that others can't do it. It's that it had been done excellently
and that technique is to be a model technique, replicated, improved
upon, developed. Older and wiser maybe later all will be delineated
down to the details, all the search terms, all the search engines,
all the mechanisms used to put out RAIN Records and Archives in
the News compiled by Peter Kurilecz.
What are the links for the previous explications that had not
every detail delineated?
With respect to a web site the links with .doc extensions
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.doc
could be improved making it more universal at
http://www.nagara.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=1&subarticlenbr=85
Certainly it demonstrates the esteem everyone hold toward the
efforts of Peter Kurilecz for these good works.
